Franklin County Sheriff’s office has an opening for a Full time Patrol Deputy. If you have ever been interested in starting a career in law enforcement or would like to continue that career here in Franklin County, we would encourage you to apply. Full time employment with Franklin County comes with insurance and benefits such as vision, health, and dental. It also qualifies for the State PERSI retirement program. The wage is hourly and is based on experience and qualifications and the rate is competitive throughout the State of Idaho among other law enforcement agencies. ($27-$30 per hr.) Hours will be shift work on a rotating schedule that will sometimes require working nights, holidays, and weekends. The following is a list of some of the duties and requirements for a Patrol Deputy. The list is not comprehensive or all inclusive. Special assignments may be given on top of the regular duties below:

·         Patrol the roads of Franklin County on a regular basis, looking for ways to protect and serve our citizens.

·         Respond to calls from those that live here and from those visiting our County.

·         Enforce laws and ordinances as needed to keep the peace in our County.

·         Execute valid warrants and apprehend those that the warrants pertain to.

·         Carry out civil process as ordered by the courts and respond to civil issues as they come up.

·         Assist other Public Service Agencies as needed and directed.
