Franklin County is currently hiring for a full-time Weed Sprayer position. This role is divided between two departments, with six months of the year spent working with the Weed Department and the other six months with the Road Department. Responsibilities include herbicide application, weed management, and general road maintenance. Applicants must have a valid CDL or be able to obtain one, as well as a herbicide applicator certification or the ability to obtain one. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors in various conditions. Must be able to work professionally with vendors, co-workers, and the public, must be able to lift 50+ lbs., and perform other duties as assigned. Applicant must be able to pass a DOT physical and submit to random drug testing. Applications may be picked up at the Franklin County Weed Department at 561 West Oneida, Preston, Idaho. Franklin County Clerk’s Office is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented for a temporary Part-Time Data Entry Specialist to join our team for 19.5 hours per week, with a flexible schedule.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering data into Excel from physical index card files. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and strong spelling skills to ensure data accuracy and integrity. The candidate must be able to type proficiently with speed and accuracy, and be capable of working independently and consistently with minimal supervision.
