Franklin County offers a variety of well-maintained facilities available for public use and private rental. From large community events to intimate family gatherings, our venues are designed to accommodate a wide range of needs. Whether you’re planning a wedding, hosting a meeting, organizing a tournament, or looking for a place to ride year-round, we have a space that fits your event.


Event Center (Opening January 2026)

Franklin County’s new Event Center is a modern, multi-use facility designed to bring our community together. With open court space that can accommodate basketball, volleyball, pickleball, tournaments, practices, and large public events, the center offers unmatched flexibility. It’s also an ideal setting for weddings, receptions, banquets, reunions, trade shows, and community celebrations.
During the Franklin County Fair, the Event Center becomes the vibrant new home for all Home Arts, Food, Crops, and Flower entries—showcasing the creativity and heritage of our residents. This state-of-the-art venue is built to serve our county for generations to come.

Robinson Building

The Robinson Building is one of our most popular and versatile rental spaces, perfect for gatherings of all sizes. With room to host wedding receptions, family reunions, business meetings, banquets, and community events, this facility offers a warm, functional, and adaptable setting. Its open layout allows for customized decorating and event flow, making it easy to bring your vision to life. Fairly Nice Shelter

The Fairly Nice Shelter is a convenient and inviting outdoor space located directly next to the Robinson Building, making it ideal for family picnics, small gatherings, reunions, birthday parties, and casual community events. This sheltered area provides shade, picnic-style seating, and an easy connection to the larger event spaces nearby.

Available seasonally from April through October, the Fairly Nice Shelter offers an affordable and accessible option for groups looking to enjoy the fairgrounds in a more relaxed, open-air setting.

Ambulance Room

Ideal for small to mid-sized gatherings, the Ambulance Room offers a comfortable and convenient venue for groups of 40–50 people. It’s a perfect fit for birthday parties, trainings, club meetings, family dinners, and community activities. With tables and chairs included, this space provides everything you need for an enjoyable and stress-free event in a clean, accessible environment.

Indoor Arena

Franklin County’s Indoor Arena is open year-round to the public for riding, training, and equine activities, providing a small, but dependable space no matter the weather. The arena may also be reserved for special events, clinics, practices, jackpots, and organized equestrian gatherings.

During the Franklin County Fair, the Indoor Arena transforms into the heart of the Market Animal Show & Sale. It becomes a showcase for the hard work of local 4-H and FFA youth, celebrating the agricultural traditions that define our county.

Indoor Arena


Outdoor Arena

Located on the Franklin County Fairgrounds, the Outdoor Arena is owned and operated independently but serves as a valued partner facility and the proud home of the iconic That Famous Preston Night Rodeo. With newly updated bleachers and some of the best equine ground in the region, it enhances the fairgrounds experience and remains a favorite venue for riders, exhibitors, and spectators.

The arena is open for public riding, with reservations required for organized events, rodeos, clinics, and competitions.

  • Lights $25.00
  • Level arena after event (if necessary): $500

The Franklin County Fairgrounds offers eight convenient RV and camping sites equipped with water and power hookups—perfect for fair exhibitors, event participants, and visitors looking to stay close to the action. These easy-access sites provide a comfortable place to relax during your stay at the fairgrounds.
Please note: sewer hookups are not available.
